Choc Nut is a local brand well loved by kids of the 80’s and even presently. Despite the changing times, the taste has remained the same through the years. A simple candy bar, when melts in the mouth, the flavor of chocolate and peanut explodes and brings nostalgic memories. Just like the feeling of Anton Ego as we was served with a little “perspective”.
Among all of my childhood treats that I can recall [Wonder Boy, White Rabbit], this brand [thankfully] was able to keep up, even which, as it has maintained a loyal fan base.
Interesting enough, as we entered St. Francis Square last Saturday. We found a new product from the same brand – Choc Nut Milk Chocolate Drink. And I say, “MUST BUY NOWW!”
I kind of hoped that it would taste like the Choc Nut candy bar, but it was completely different. Different, in a sort of good way. It was chocolatey and sweet. No need to add sugar or milk. I’m not sure where else you can buy this but we found a reseller at Ho-Land Delicacies, which you won’t miss as it is located near the entrance of St. Francis Square, Ortigas City.
The Travelling Hello Kitty say’s, “the Choc Nut drink is fairly okay. Perfect on a rainy day, best shared with someone you love”.
🙂
Hi! My friend from san francisco is asking me to send her chocnut chocolate milk drink. I’ve searched supermarket shelves but cannot find it. Can you tell me where you found it? Thanks.
Hello Edith,
I found these at St. Francis Square Ortigas. The kiosk of Holland which is near the entrance door.
Aww Ortigas is so far from here. I quickly scanned your post to know where you got them but oh well.
